PEOPLE reports that Jesse James (42) and Kat Von D (29) have split.
James, who notoriously cheated on his former wife Sandra Bullock, had been the subject of much tabloid fodder before during and after the scandal, and the trend continued when he met up with Von D, and when the couple were engaged.
He tells PEOPLE: 
“I’m so sad because I really love her…The distance between us was just too much.”ÂÂÂ
Kat Von D had been referring to her romance with James on her series LA Ink. James had relocated to Texas after his split from Sandra Bullock.
