Suddenly, this week, it seems like we’re getting loads of information for THE DARK KNIGHT RISES.   First off, we have the new poster, below, which shows Gotham crumbling from the rooftops (think Batman’s going to have some cleaning up to do?).
Secondly, thanks to Carnegie Melon, we have some nice little descriptions of the scenes that will be filmed at their Software Engineering Institute, and it could be taken as a little spoiler-ish. According to the site (via Joblo):
“Scenes outside the SEI, which will be portrayed as a prison, will include an explosion, a prison break, precision stunt driving, gunfire, atmospheric smoke, and controlled pyrotechnic explosions.
Scenes outside the Fifth Ave. entrance of Mellon Institute include a standoff between two rivals that escalates into a riot. One character drives a motorcycle through the fourth floor lobby, out the front doors and down the steps onto Fifth Ave. Special effects include precision stunt driving, gunfire and atmospheric smoke.”
So it seems like the idea of Bane releasing all the criminals from Arkham may have some truth to it…seems a tad redundant from the first film, but if any of the word of mouth from the stars is correct, it should blow all our minds!
