George Lucas Replacing Puppet Yoda in EPISODE I with CGI Yoda

I swear, I feel like if you put a dead horse in front of George Lucas, give him a stick, and go on vacation for a week, you'll come back and he'll still be beating it.

I swear, I feel like if you put a dead horse in front of George Lucas, give him a stick, and go on vacation for a week, you’ll come back and he’ll still be beating it.

Lucas apparently doesn’t know when to quit when it comes to tweaking his STAR WARS films. Maybe he wants more money, or is a very over-the-top perfectionist, but either way, Lucas has decided to replace the puppet Yoda in PHANTOM MENACE with the CGI Yoda from EPISODE II and III for the new Blu-Ray edition.

You could see the difference below, but was it really even necessary? I mean, seriously…the charm of the films is seeing how they change over the years with technology.

Next up, we’ve got the 3D re-releases. And keep in mind that for those, the next film ONLY gets re-released if the chapter before makes back enough money.

Yeah…something tells me he isn’t a perfectionist…something else tells me Scrooge McDuck is jealous.
