Everyone was in the house last night for the VMAs! We had your music stars, your movie stars, your reality stars, and even Tony Bennett!
But one person that was NOT in the house last night was “Jersey Shore” star, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino!
So why didn’t he make it? Turns out it was all because of Irene!
While the rest of the “Jersey Shore” cast boarded a private jet Saturday morning in Teterboro, NJ, Mike was still stuck in the state, and was held there by the rain!
He tweeted that night,
“I wish I could be at the VMA’s but all flights were grounded because of the Hurricane … thanks again for always having my back! For all the Haters who are mad by what really happened, keep Hating!”
I say thank goodness he WASN’T there…how many women would have passed out just by seeing the abs. It would have been massive chaos!
Or, you know, no one would have cared as much…
