Frances Bay, the woman most famous for playing Adam Sandler’s grandma in HAPPY GILMORE, has passed away.
Her agent confirms that Bay passed away Thursday at the age of 92.
After spending most of her life as a housewife, Bay deciding to pursue a career as an actress in the 1970’s, when she was already in her mid-50’s.
And another little fact: if she wasn’t cool enough already playing Adam Sandler’s grandma, she also played The Fonz’s grandma in an episode of “Happy Days”!
How did i miss this? So sad to hear about her death.Hollywood could’ve learned something from this girl. REST IN PEACE FRANCES.
