Lindsay’s Second Attempt At Morgue Service Has Its Bumps.

Lindsay Lohan, trying to smooth over the tension from yesterday’s failed attempt to service at the L.A. County Morgue, had cupcakes sent over. The delivery was turned away.

E! News reports that Lohan was trying to make up for the previous day’s confusion, when she showed up 40 minutes late and was turned away by officials. Today, she made a better attempt, getting there before the light of day. But her attempt at sweetening up the staff with a cupcake delivery went awry.

Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter told E! News: “Yes, there was an attempted delivery of cupcakes, but I turned the delivery person away … I had a discussion with Lindsay and she advised that she did not know the person who ordered the cupcakes. We discussed the issue of these types of incidents and that we would not allow such activity. I think that she got the message.”

In-N-Out is getting a lot of free publicity today, because there is also a disagreement between the Morgue people (that sounds creepy, doesn’t it?) and Lohan’s reps about whether or not Lohan tried again by getting the gang lunch.

“Lindsay asked her assistant to pick up lunches from the In-And-Out in Huntington Park around 10:30 a.m.” rep Steve Honig said in a statement to E! News. “Around 11 a.m., her assistant returned with the lunches and brought them into the administrative trailer and set the food on a table for the volunteers to eat on their break”

Yeesh. You know you’re troubled life is popular with the media when your cupcake orders make the news.
