It is being rumored that Bee Gee Robin Gibb is fighting liver cancer. Now, while the singer doesn’t say exactly what is wrong, he has confirmed that he has a serious illness.
According to MSNBC, Gibb has commented on his website that he has been “very unwell” but is now “on the road to recovery.”  The 61-year-old thanked his fans for their messages of support, and said he was grateful for their prayers and good wishes.
Gibb’s gaunt appearance and cancellation of several public appearances have sparked fears that he is seriously ill.  He was rushed to the hospital yesterday, following an emergency call from his home, and later released.
