Bella’s birthing scene in TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN has caused at least two audience members to have seizures.
I’m going to let you digest that for a moment. Be shocked, pick your jaw up off the floor, stop laughing, and read on.
According to MSNBC, Brandon Gephart of Roseville, California, and an unnamed Salt Lake City, Utah man claim that the film’s infamous scene, which contains blasts of blinding light on screen, triggered the convulsions.
Gephart told Sacramento station CBS 13 that he suddenly blanked out, and only remembers waking up on the theater floor. According to his girlfriend, Gephart was “convulsing, snorting, trying to breathe.” ÂÂÂ
As for the Utah man (who wanted to remain anonymous), his wife told Salt Lake City’s ABC 4 News that when the birthing scene came on the screen, “(My husband) started mumbling and he was blinking on and off with his eyes at that point. I was kneeling in front of him slapping his face.”
Both men are reportedly fine after the incident. All I can really say is (insert bad TWILIGHT joke here).
