Scarlett Johansson Does Not Like Facebook Or Any Social Media

If you ever dreamed about being Facebook friends with the absolutely gorgeous Scarlett Jonahsson, or maybe reading her Twitter posts like she were Ashton Kutcher, sorry to say...it ain't gonna happen.

If you ever dreamed about being Facebook friends with the absolutely gorgeous Scarlett Jonahsson, or maybe reading her Twitter posts like she were Ashton Kutcher, sorry to say…it ain’t gonna happen.

In a new interview for Interview magazine, the actress said that while she thinks social networking is an “amazing tool” that can be used for good, the idea of followers and saying whatever you’re doing is just something she doesn’t understand:

“I don’t have a Facebook or a Twitter account, and I don’t know how I feel about this idea of, ‘Now, I’m eating dinner, and I want everyone to know that I’m having dinner at this time,’ or ‘I just mailed a letter and dropped off my kids,’…That, to me, is a very strange phenomenon. I can’t think of anything I’d rather do less than have to continuously share details of my everyday life.”

And what about the Ashton Kutchers type celebrities and all their Twitter accounts?

“I guess they use it in a way that works for them…But I’d rather that people had less access to my personal life. If I could keep it that way, I’d be a happy lady.”

Makes complete sense.

The full interview with Scarlett is available in Interview’s December issue.
