“Game of Thrones” Director Alan Taylor Chosen to Direct THOR 2

Fans of both “Game of Thrones” and THOR will be very happy today: veteran “Game of Thrones” director Alan Taylor has been officially named as the director of THOR 2.

According to Deadline, Taylor, who has numerous credits including “Boardwalk Empire,” “Mad Men” and “Nurse Jackie,” will replace Patty Jenkins at the helm.

THOR 2 will hit theaters November 13, 2013.
