Michael Bay Now Admits…There Might Just Be a TRANSFORMERS 4
Less than two months ago, Michael Bay said that he was not talking to Paramount about any new TRANSFORMERS sequels. Only a few months before that, Bay said that TRANSFORMERS 3 would be his last. Amazing how time changes all…
According to WorstPreviews, Bay is finally warming up to the idea of another sequel. During an unveiling of “Transformers: The Ride” in Singapore, he said:
“We’re talking about it, but there’s nothing right now…I’m going to do a tiny movie first, then we’ll talk about it, if I potentially do it.”
And it’s not only fans that want him back. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, even Steven Spielberg said that he hopes Bay heads back to the director’s chair:
“I hope so, because I think he made the best of the three with this last one…I certainly can’t imagine anybody other than Michael being equipped to make another ‘Transformers.’ He’s invented a genre and he’s got the secret formula.”
