We haven’t heard much from Russell Brand and Katy Perry since their split last month.  All has been pretty quiet on the home front…until now.

Yesterday, Brand, himself was at a TCA panel in Pasadena, California, promoting his new FX late night series, “Strangely Uplifting,” when a reporter asked him how he was doing.  He responded:

“I’m quite well, thank you. Are you asking because of recent events?  Well, I suppose what you’re doing is you’re making the mistake as seeing time as linear.”

Brand said that his main goal, now, is to focus on his work, and give his fans something to make them feel good:

“All I want is for people to feel better than they do now. That’s all I want…All I want is to make people laugh and to make people happy. And as long as I stay in alignment with that, then I’m served by great forces.”

Yet will Brand talk about his personal life at all?  Possibly…

“I think there will be inevitable biographical elements because you can’t speak from anyone’s perspective but your own…Unless I was to bizarrely adapt some sort of avatar.”
