VIDEO: Morgan Freeman’s Awesome Electric Company Casket Bath

During the Golden Globe Awards, actor Morgan Freeman was honored with the Cecil B. DeMille Lifetime Achievement Award. You might expect them to casually omit his stint as a regular on the PBS kids show Electric Company from the 'body of work' montage. They did not. Here he is singing as a vampire in a casket.

I assure you, this is a sentence I don’t say every day: “Here’s Morgan Freeman’s awesome Electric Company casket bath.” But here it is.

During the Golden Globe Awards, actor Morgan Freeman was honored with the Cecil B. DeMille Lifetime Achievement Award. It’s an incredible honor for a remarkable body of work. And as you might expect, they played a montage of some of Freeman’s most memorable roles over the span of his lifetime.

You might expect them to casually omit his stint as a regular on the PBS kids show Electric Company, which he was known for in his early acting years, but happily they kept it in. Amidst classics like Driving Miss Daily and others, they played a portion of this great clip below where he is a vampire taking a bath in a casket.  And singing. Awesome.
