JK Rowling Is No Longer a Billionaire…Why?

Has J.K. Rowling lost a significant amount of her fortune?

In recent years, Forbes has estimated that the HARRY POTTER scribe was worth about $1 Billion.  Now, Forbes is reporting that she is down to only about 640 Million Pounds.

The reason?  Don’t worry, fans…it isn’t a crazy shopping spree, nor bad investments or a horrible drug or alcohol addiction…it’s all because of good old tax paying and charity!

Turns out Rowling paid all her taxes on time last year, and gave a huge chunk of change, roughly $160 million, to charity!

Something tells me that Rowling will be okay, and not living on the street anytime soon…
