Black Widow Will NOT Be Returning for IRON MAN 3

Sad news to hear from the world of Marvel: Black Widow will NOT be returning for IRON MAN 3.

In a new interview with Screenrant, Scarlett Jonahsson spoke out on the rumors and confirmed that she will not be appearing with Tony Stark in his upcoming adventure.

But don’t worry, fanboys…there’s a lot more Black Widow to come, including her own movie!  Johansson shared her thoughts on the subject:

“I personally think there’s an awesome Black Widow movie in there that is a Bourne-type of film. It would be totally awesome.”

Over the last few weeks, we’ve learned a bit more about IRON MAN 3.  Director Shane Black revealed that the film will be “a technological thriller” and a “crisis movie” set in the world of “international war, arms and terror.”  Ben Kingsley, Guy Pearce and Jessica Chastain have already been casted.
