Rihanna never expected that two Aussie radio hosts would confront her about stealing a few lyrics from them … but there it is, all on tape! Watch the setup and her priceless, adorable reaction.

SCROLL DOWN FOR THE VIDEO!

Australian comedy radio show hosts Hamish and Andy had Ri on their show recently, with a clip from a prior interview with her at the ready.  During the last interview, the pair create a fake tune

The last time she visited them, Hamish and Andy made a mock tune to play for her as a joke. They then joked about some of the lyrics to the song, which included ‘rum popa pum, rum popa pum.’  They joked: “By the way, if we hear ‘rum popa pum, rum popa pum’ on one of your songs, we’re gonna know where you got it from.”

On the old clip,Rihanna answered, “I won’t do that to you.”

On Rihanna’s return visit (clip below), she listens, befuddled as the two hosts set up the old clip, and then prove that Rihanna actually DID use that lyric in one of her songs… her hit single “Man Down.”

Confronted with the evidence, Rihanna realizes the coincidence (?) and laughs – “I did it, I broke my promise.” The whole room breaks up in laughter. Check it out.

Mind you, the song has made Rihanna a millionaire another time over… are some royalties necessary? 🙂
