Former Bee Gee Robin Gibb Is In A Coma

A statement on Gibb’s official website revealed the news, saying that Gibb contracted pneumonia earlier in the week.

A statement on Gibb’s official website revealed the news, saying that Gibb contracted pneumonia earlier in the week.  The statement read:

“Sadly the reports are true that Robin has contracted pneumonia and is in a coma…We are all hoping and praying that he will pull through.”

No other details were given.

The 62-year-old singer underwent intestinal surgery last month.  Gibb’s twin brother, Maurice, passed away in 2003 at the age of 53 after suffering complications from a twisted intestine.
