Jennifer Love Sets Her Sights On Adam Levine

How does a celebrity ask another celebrity out? If you’re Jennifer Love Hewitt, you drop a very conspicuous hint on a talk show. Well played!

Love Hewitt, whose guilty-pleasure nighttime drama The Client List is debuting on Lifetime, was on the Ellen show when she talked about her new single likfe - making it clear that dating rocker Adam Levine wouldn’t be such a bad thing.

“I always have my eyes out,” says the 33 year old actress, “I just read two days ago that Adam Levine is single again … I’m just saying.”

The Maroon 5 frontman and judge on The Voice just broke up with his girlfriend of two years, model Anne Vyalitsyna.

This isn’t the first time a star has made a public proclamation that ended up resulting in a relationship. Back in 2008 when Russell Brand hosted the MTV Video Music Awards, Brand made it very clear while onstage that he was attracted to Katy Perry and wanted to be with her. She was in the audience. Two years later they were married. Sadly, now they’re divorced.
