Donald Trump is “Honored” That President Obama Made Fun Of Him…Wait, What?!?!
Last year, Donald Trump was the leading force in the birther movement to find President Obama’s “real birth certificate”, and sat stone faced as Obama told joke after joke about him during the 2011 White House Correspondent’s Dinner.
What a difference a year makes…
In a new interview with the New York Daily News, Trump said that he “was honored” that the commander-in-chief made his first joke at the 2012 Correspondent’s Dinner about him, because it “was done in a very nice fashion and well delivered.”
The jab started with what seemed to be a reference to Osama Bin Laden, with Obama saying, “Last year at this time, this very weekend, we finally delivered justice to one of the world’s most notorious individuals.” Instead of the expected picture of Bin Laden coming up, a very unflattering picture of Trump filled the screens about the audience.
The real estate mogul did manage, with his very interesting logic, to spin the joke into something flattering, saying, “He is the president, and his first words were uttered about Donald Trump.”
Yes, Mr. Trump…keep thinking with that logic…
