Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino To Become A Comic Book Superhero

Soon 'The Situation' will be saving people from grenades and leaping tall kegs in a single bound. Apparently, the reality star has landed yet another deal - and it's a crazy one - to be a comic book superhero.

Soon ‘The Situation’ will be saving people from grenades and leaping tall kegs in a single bound. Apparently, the reality star has landed yet another deal – and it’s a crazy one – to be a comic book superhero.

Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, who gained infamy from MTV’s “Jersey Shore,” is teaming up with Wizard World and MPS Entertainment, to release a series of comic books that will come out this August at Chicago’s Comic Con.

He’s already unveiled a sneak peek of the cover, which was illustrated by artist Greg Horn … and unlike most superheros, which usually have some sort of costume to shield their identity, Sitch has decided to go, naturally, shirtless. What ISN’T being released yet is just WHO his arch nemesis will be, but there’s some indication that it will be someone we may recognize. (Efforting the scoop on that one!)

There is a veritable dream team of artists and writers behind the series… Eisner Award–winning writer Paul Jenkins (“Wolverine: Origins,” “Batman,” “Hulk,” “Spider-Man”) contributed, pencil and inks are by Talent Caldwell (“Superman,” “X-Men,” “G.I. Joe”) and coloring by Paul Mounts (“Avengers,” “Ultimate X-Men,” “Wolverine,” “Thor”). Go figure.
