AWKWARD VIDEO: Oprah to 50 Cent: “Why Did You Name Your Dog Oprah?!?”

Awkward. In a sit down interview for “Oprah’s Next Chapter,” Winfrey got to confront 50 Cent with a tough question: “WHY DID YOU NAME YOUR DOG OPRAH?” Fiddy got pretty flustered.

“I heard you have a dog named Oprah … that was not a compliment,” she said to the rapper. “Why did you name your dog Oprah?”

Fiddy, known for being street tough, never looked more sheepish in his life. He was busted.

“I love you,” he said. “you know how they say a dog is a man’s best friend?”

50 explained that he took it personally when Oprah’s went on air publicly against the N-word and degradation of women in hip hop music.

“I would see moments where you would discuss your feelings on the culture, and everything that was wrong with the culture was on my CD … and I was like, ‘She doesn’t like me.’  … At the time, I was just looking at the situation and I saw I was developing negative feelings for someone who doesn’t even know me… I gave it to the dog…I was excited about the dog at the time.”

He then went on to awkwardly speak of the Schnauzer: “I thought it was going to be bigger.” (Why?? Why would you say that to Oprah?”) He also explained that he has a cat named Gayle.
