Fifteen year old Jack Andraka won the highest award (and 75 thousand dollars, by the way) at the International Science and Engineering Fair for his creation of a new, non-invasive method to detect early-stage pancreatic cancer. Needless to say, he was excited to learn the news. I would be too! It’s fun to see such an emotional reaction.
