For anyone concerned that Britney Spears wouldn’t have the chops to critique contestants on “The X Factor,” think again. In a new 17 second promo, the pop icon is looking gorgeous and working a sharp tongue.
Even though the promo is brief, you can see that Spears takes a page from Simon Cowell, using anything but kid-gloves with the contestants, saying: “You can’t destroy that song, sweetie,” “Very predictable” “Bad to the bone,” and “You definitely don’t have the ‘X Factor.’ ” In a few cases, you can hear the audience gasp.
Consider me interested! “X Factor” debuts on September 12.
