Is There Going To Be A Female Version of THE EXPENDABLES?!
THE EXPENDABLES is an all out attack on your senses when it comes to testosterone. But could we actually be looking at a FEMALE version in the near future?!
According to Variety, producer Adi Shankar (DREDD, THE GREY) is funding an all-female action film, and wants some very high profile ladies to join the cast!
While promoting his new film, EXPENDABLES 2, director Simon West commented on the idea, telling E! News that he loves it:
“I like the idea of seven or eight women mercenaries. It would be Angelina Jolie, Cameron Diaz, Milla Jovovich, the list goes on. Helen Mirren, Jamie Lee Curtis would be great.”
Fans have already made lists with their favorite actresses, which include such stars as Sigourney Weaver, Kate Beckinsale, Gina Carano, Linda Hamilton, Jennifer Garner, Charlize Theron, Zoe Saldana, and Sarah Michelle Gellar.
I personally think the idea would be movie gold. Seriously…get the females going, and then make an EXPENDABLES 4 with everyone! It would be absolutely glorious…
