Michael J. Fox Is Returning To TV In New Sitcom!!!
Today is like Christmas morning for me. Today is better than Christmas morning. Today is the day that Michael J. Fox announces his return to series television.
Access Hollywood is reporting that more than a decade after leaving “Spin City” to fight Parkinson’s disease, the BACK TO THE FUTURE star is planning to return to TV in a new comedy.
Sources for the site say that the project is being developed at Sony Pictures Television with EASY A director Will Gluck and “Arrested Development” writer Sam Laybourne. It has already garnered much interested from all the major network players. Both Fox’s publicist and Sony have yet to comment on the rumors.
The 51-year-old actor and founder of the “Michael J. Fox Foundation” has had numerous guest starring roles on different series, including “Rescue Me” and “The Good Wife”, and told ABC News in May that a new drug regimen has helped him control his Parkinson’s symptoms.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to go open my BACK TO THE FUTURE themed presents under my giant Mr. Fusion shaped Christmas tree.
