According to Joblo, ABC has ordered a pilot for “S.H.I.E.L.D,” a live action series based on the secret government organization that is the backbone of all of Marvel’s films so far. The series, from Joss Whedon, Marvel TV, and ABC Studios, will be written by Whedon, his brother Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen.
Productions is set to begin immediately with Whedon directing the pilot.
Now, the only question is will Samuel L. Jackson or Cobie Smulders make a cameo appearance? Or maybe they could bring back Phil Coulson…
