Tony Scott Did NOT Have Brain Cancer?
Since fans and media first found out that director Tony Scott took his life Sunday afternoon, only one question has been asked: why? And now, despite thinking we may have had an answer, the question still lingers.
ABCNews.com initially reportedyesterday that Scott was grief stricken after finding out he had an inoperable brain tumor. That was followed up by a report from the New York Post, where they quoted multiple sources as saying that he has been suffering from cancer and had a relapse.
Within hours, however, ABC news retracted their story, saying the “cancer report appears in doubt.” The Los Angeles Times quoted Craig Harvey, a chief for the coroner’s office, as saying “The family told us it is incorrect that he has inoperable brain cancer,” and TMZ reported that Scott’s wife, Donna, told investigators that any reports of brain cancer are “absolutely false,” and Scott didn’t have any other severe medical issues.
So the question remains…what caused the successful director to leap to his death just two months after his 68th birthday?
We will keep you updated on this story as it develops.
