VIDEO: Check Out Toby Jones’ Hitchcock In HBO’s First Teasers For THE GIRL

There was a young lady of Kent/Who said that she knew what it meant/When men asked her to dine, And served cocktails and wine/She knew what it meant – but she went!

And with that one little limerick, we get our first taste of Toby Jones as Mr. Alfred Hitchcock in HBO’s new film, THE GIRL.

Mimicking the legendary director’s style down to the credits reveal, the just released teaser paints an image of a creepy, almost stalker-ish Hitchcock…stoic and emotionless, unless it concerns his leading lady…

The film tells the story of the relationship between Hitchcock and Tippi Hedren (Sienna Miller), who starred in his films THE BIRDS and MARNIE.  Take a look at both teasers below (and the apparent fixation) and let us know what you think of the portrayal.
