FIRST LOOK: Anthony Hopkins Disappears in the Skin of Alfred Hitchcock
A few weeks ago, we got the first look at Toby Jones as Alfred Hitchcock in the new BBC movie, THE GIRL. It was underwhelming, to say the least (Toby Jones will always be Toby Jones to me…) Today, we have the first image of Anthony Hopkins in the role, and it is significantly more impressive.
Hopkins will be starring in HITCHCOCK (formally known as ALFRED HITCHCOCK AND THE MAKING OF PSYCHO), based on Stephen Rebello’s book, which chronicles the path to get the legendary horror film made.
The rest of the cast is equally as impressive, with Helen Mirren as Hitchcock’s wife, Alma, Scarlett Johansson as actress Janet Leigh, Jessica Biel as actress Vera Miles, and James D’Arcy as the leading man, Anthony Perkins.
