There have been sooo many times where two moves have come out a few months apart with almost the same exact story. Examples:
A BUGS LIFE, ANTZ
HEIST, THE SCORE
ARMAGEDDON, DEEP IMPACT
The most recent example is the Ashton Kutcher/Natalie Portman comedy NO STRINGS ATTACHED and the Justin Timberlake/Mila Kunis one, FRIENDS WITH BENEFITS. And now that the second trailer has come out, I think I may be more of a fan of FRIENDS WITH BENEFITS.
The trailer completely takes down the idea of cliche romantic comedies while being one itself, and with a dash of Woody Harrelson and a pinch of 90s rock love with Semisonic, I was smiling throughout.
