Chris Brown Makes Ridiculous Excuse For Breaking Up With His Girlfriend, Shows Up At Concert With Rihanna That Night
They may have had a late-night hookup, but are Chris Brown and Rihanna really back together??
NBC News is reporting that the former (or current?) couple was spotted together at Jay-Z’s Barclay Center concert in Brooklyn Wednesday night.
Rap Radar editor Elliott Wilson tweeted a photo of the duo sitting next to each other in a VIP area, with Brown’s arm wrapped around the back of his ex’s seat. The pair was also seen making separate exits from Manhattan’s Gansevoort Hotel earlier in the day…
To add to the rumors, Brown has also confirmed that he has officially broken up with his real girlfriend, Karrueche Tran. His reason, however, is far from controversial, and seemingly innocent:
“I have decided to be single to focus on my career. I love Karrueche very much but I don’t want to see her hurt over my friendship with Rihanna…I’d rather be single allowing us to both be happy in our lives.”
Tran posted a very telling tweet that same night, simply writing: “Bye baby.”
Could this mean that Brown really ditched Tran for his ex? Could all the flooding of honesty with Oprah and tweeting have been the blossoming of something new?
And with all that, one has to wonder what Jay-Z, the new protective father with his own young daughter, is thinking…
