TRAILER ALERT: Brad Pitt Faces Off With Millions Of Zombies In WORLD WAR Z

It was a tumultuous few months for WORLD WAR Z, the adaptation of Max Brooks’ terrifying fictional tale of a post-zombie apocalyptic world. Now after re-shoots and a very public battle between Brad Pitt and director Marc Forster, we finally have our first trailer.

Ditching the book’s numerous perspectives on the ten-year war against zombies, Forster’s tale instead focuses on one specific story about A U.N. Employee (Pitt) who is forced to travel the world trying to put an end to the pandemic. While the trailer looks eerie and disturbing (the image of the undead carelessly climbing over each other up that wall was intense…), it’ll be interesting to see how the movie actually does, considering all the issues during filming (including numerous reshoots and a Hungarian police raid because of real gun use). 

Costarring Mireille Enos (AMC’s “The Killing”), Matthew Fox (ALEX CROSS) , David Morse (THE GREEN MILE), and James Badge Dale (FLIGHT), WORLD WAR Z is set to hit theaters June 2013.  Check out the trailer below and let us know what you think!
