Simmer down muggles, this bit of good news doesn’t require any magic. A trailer for Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald hit the internet today and not even Slytherins can contain their joy. The sequel begins right where the first film takes off, with Gellert Grindelwald following through on his threat to escape custody and attempt to raise up pure blooded wizards to then dominate over all non-magical creatures. Newt Scamander is summoned to help Albus Dumbledore in defeating Grindelwald once and for all. Returning as Grindelwald and Scamander respectively are Johnny Depp and Eddie Redmayne, while Jude Law makes his first appearance as a young Dumbledore. If the first film, and 8 Harry Potter films, have taught us anything it is that we can expect another magically adventurous hit.
Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald hits theaters November 16.
