Dora Explores The Perils Of High School In The ‘Dora The Explorer’ Live-Action Film

Dora, Dora, Dora, the explorer…will need more than just a talking map to navigate the hectic halls of high school.

The official trailer just dropped for the upcoming, Dora The Explorer live-action film entitled Dora and The Lost City Of Gold. Long are the days of the 2-dimensional Dora teaching toddlers to say please and thank you in Español. This Dora is a full-fledged teenager who has to cope with transferring to a new school AND parents that fly off on their own adventure. In the film, Dora comes from a family of explorers…shout out to Eva Longoria who plays Dora’s mom!…and when her parents decide that she can’t join them on their mission to find the Lost City of Gold, they send Dora to stay with her cousin, Diego. Yes, Diego of Go, Diego Go! fame. As if high school wasn’t already hard enough, Dora and a few classmates get kidnapped by a villain who wants to find the Lost City of Gold as well. I’m don’t think me shouting primary colors in Spanish is going to help Dora get out of this one.

The film stars Isabela Moner, Eugenio Derbez, Michael Peña, Eva Longoria, and Danny Trejo and is expected to hit theaters on August 2nd! ¡Haga clic abajo para ver el tráiler extendido! (Click below to watch the extended trailer!)
