Ted Williams, The Man With the Golden Voice, Ditches Rehab Against Orders

In somewhat sad/disappointing news, Ted Williams, the homeless man with the “Golden Voice”, has apparently left rehab against medical advice.

According to TMZ, less than two weeks after checking in for drug and alcohol dependency, Williams left the Origins Recovery Center in South Texas.

No other news is known at this time.  A YouTube video was posted only a few weeks ago showing the homeless Williams speaking with a perfect radio DJ voice.  What followed was a whirlwind of press and offers to get his life restarted.  However, after a taping of the Dr. Phil show with his family, Ted was convinced to go back into rehab.

We will have more on this story as it develops.
