Are you looking for a new ad campaign? One that makes you shiver with excitement and yearing for the man you wish your man would be?
Well don’t worry, because the Old Spice guy is back!
To help you imagine what will take place in the upcoming months, there is a 30-second “coming attractions”-type trailer going online today to promote the new string of commercials.
Along with that, a yet-to-be-named “superfan” will get to debut the first new commercial on his or her own social network page or feed, sometime before Super Bowl Sunday.
James Moorhead, brand manager for Old Spice, said:
“We felt like we could build some excitement behind this latest launch, letting people know we’re bringing Isaiah [Mustafa] back, and continue to reward our fans across social media.”
The first commercial a year ago with Mustafa generated tens of millions of online views and tons of new catchphrases, including “I’m on a horse” and “Monocle smile!”  The second campaign last summer included 186 related videos in which Mustafa responded personally to digital queries from users including Ellen DeGeneres and Alyssa Milano.
The first of three commercials in the new promotion will start running on television February 7, the day after the Super Bowl.
