Lindsay Lohan turned down a plea deal today – one that would have included significant jail time.
Judge Keith L. Schwartz instead arraigned for another hearing on March 10 to follow through on the case, which alleges that she stole a necklace and violated probation.
Said the judge:
“I don’t care that you’re Lindsay Lohan vs. Jane Doe. It doesn’t affect me … This case does involve jail time. Period. If you plead in front of me, you are going to jail.”
At the next hearing, Lohan will have to decide whether to settle on a deal or not.
The judge also suggested that Lohan have additional psychological screenings and therapy, and arrange for a 12-step sponsor that is not within her family.
