Lindsay Lohan stood before a judge today – this time to mark the end of her probation for DUI and necklace theft. But before leaving her to her own devices the judge had some strong suggestions for how Lohan should live her life moving forward.
Judge Stephanie Sautner started things off with: “She did it… Ms. Lohan has done everything she was ordered to do…probation terminates today. Now.”
Lindsay could be heard giving a sigh of relief in the courtroom.
The DUI part of her legal woes officially over, there is an ‘informal probation’ that remains for her necklace theft. That means she doesn’t have to check in with an officer, have her travel monitored and she doesn’t have any more hearings. (That’s about as informal as you can get!)
The judge continued: “You’ve paid all your fees, paid more than you should’ve, but that’s between you and [the probation department] … I wouldn’t go asking for a refund.”
“The only terms left for you on that case are to obey all laws. It’s not that hard. I know it’s kind of hard when people are following you around all the time, but that’s the life you chose.ÂÂÂ
“I’m not going to give you a lecture. Live your life in a more mature way, stop the nightclubbing and focus on your work, OK? … I don’t expect to see you again … You know what you have to do.”
