Vanity Fair’s 17th Annual Hollywood Issue Cover Returns The Glamour to the Golden Age

For the 17th annual Vanity Fair Hollywood Issue, the magazine took the biggest stars of the year and threw them back into classic Hollywood.

The three-panel foldout cover was shot by Norman Jean Roy, and features 15 of the year’s biggest actors from 20-year-old Jennifer Lawrence to 80-year-old Robert Duvall. The shoot’s fashion and style director Jessica Diehl said,

“We wanted to evoke the glamour of 1930s Shanghai, an era of smoky, alluring elegance.”

Among the actors featured are Oscar hosts James Franco and Anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, your new Spiderman: Andrew Garfield, Jake Gyllenhaal, Ryan Reynolds, and BLACK SWAN’s Mila Kunis, among many others.
