So is this the kind of publicity that “American Idol” is going for this season?
According to TMZ, the contestants on the show were freaked out when the mansion that they live in (yes, it’s like “Real World” or “Jersey Shore” up in there…) started to experience supernatural activity.
First step: bizarre flickering lights inside the house. Second step: a huge spider infestation.
And apparently the final step that caused all the contestants to freak out and run from their mansion: a bed sheet suddenly lifted off the bed and floated down an empty hallway!
Sources connected with the production say the contestants demanded to move, and the gang is now safely holed up in an undisclosed location.
Now the only question is how are they going to input this phenomenon into the show? Maybe they could have a ghost wildcard? Maybe have a William Hung/floating sheet battle on stage? Could be anything!
