Carrot Top’s Radical Makeover. Yes, You Read That Right.

After two hours of begging from Las Vegas Magazine, he agreed to four hours of blow drying and flat ironing to pose for a photo spread entitled "The Taming Of The Do."

Hey, no one said every one of my posts had to be socially relevant or useful. But hey, check out what Carrot Top (whose veggie-less name is Scott Thompson) has done! After two hours of begging from Las Vegas Magazine, he agreed to four hours of blow drying and flat ironing to pose for a photo spread entitled “The Taming Of The Do.”

He tells The Las Vegas Sun:

“Almost every day, someone asks if I ever flat iron my hair,” said Thompson, who has been concerned enough about maintaining his mane that he has consulted a hair-follicle expert (whom he jokes is totally bald). “I say no, because I’m afraid it wouldn’t look good and wouldn’t come back curly.”

Just to clear the air, it DID come back curly. Almost instantaneously, with a few sprays of water and a little scrunching.

Incidentally, in case you didn’t know, Carrot Top is also a body builder now. He’s surprisingly shredded and is always flexing on the red carpet these days =  he’s even been featured at body building events. Go figure.
