During his appearance on the ABC “The View” Robin Williams says he was pulled over by police when riding on the sidewalk.
Co-host Elisabeth Hasselback chimed in: “I got hit by a bike on a sidewalk!”ÂÂÂ
Williams responded: “Well, it’s the law because of her!”
“No one was on the sidewalk, and all of a sudden woop-woop!” Williams said.
Once the cops saw who they were dealing with – they let him go with a verbal warning! I wonder if they’d be so lenient for the average Joe…
Williams has been an avid biker for many years, sometimes riding for up to 80 miles a week, and participating in races and fundraisers that are more than 50 miles long for a single event.
