Beyonce was awarded the Millennium Award at the 2011 Billboard Music awards on Sunday night. She capped it off with one of the most remarkable live performances seen on an awards show (or anywhere else for that matter). Knowles sang and danced to her single “Who Run The World” (Girls) as an enormous screen whirled amazing special effects behind her, including an army of Beyonces… which she managed to dance with in complete synchronicity.  It’s amazing to watch the technical wizardry- and yet it’s still Beyonce herself that brings down the house.
It’s often said that the true test of a performer’s talent is their ability to perform live. Beyonce once again establishes herself as a stellar talent in her performance.
