VIDEO: Seagull Steals, Flys Off With Mini-HD Camera. All Caught On Tape!
If this is not an ad, then GoPro cameras should make it one. According to the uploader, a guy was shooting with a GoPro camera in Cannes. They’re tiny – roughly 2 square inches, easily mountable, and often used by skydivers and skateboarders to take HD video of their adventures. Apparently a seagull took interest and grabbed it almost instantly, flying off to a high perch along a French castle. What defies explanation is how the guy actually ever found the camera. So here’s the GoPro camera. I won’t lie – I have one, and they’re pretty awesome. They are NOT big, and as a result they have very few bells and whistles. There’s basically ONE button to do pretty much everything so it takes some getting used to…Pressing the button once does one thing, pressing it twice does another… it can be a tad overwhelming. You need to keep the directions to this thing! But they take great video.
