First it was Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis. Then, it was 89-year-old Betty White. And now, the trend of inviting celebrities to the Marine Corps Ball continues with Paul Walker!
That’s right! Sergeant Erin Fitzgerald, currently deployed to Afghanistan with MWSS 272 as a Radio Operator, has invited FAST AND THE FURIOUS star Paul Walker to accompany her to the Marine Corps Ball in Wilmington NC! No word on the response yet, but let’s get the video circulating so he could see it, and get a response back to her!
As for Ms. Betty White, sadly, she had to decline Sgt. Ray Lewis’ invitation to the ball. She released a statement through her publicist, saying (via the LA Times):
“I am deeply flattered and truly appreciate the invitation. As everyone knows, I love a man in uniform … but unfortunately I cannot accept, as I will be taping an episode of ‘Hot in Cleveland.’ Love, Betty White.”
