One Of These Castmembers Found Out It Was Their Last Season On TWITTER!

When word broke yesterday that three of Glee‘s main cast members would be enterting their FINAL season this fall, one of them had no idea… until they read about it on Twitter!

2011 Emmy nominee Chris Colfer was not involved in discussions that some castmembers, naturally, would eventually have to graduate from high school sooner rather than later. His character Kurt Hummel was one of them.

Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson asked straight out how he learned his fate:

“Yesterday on Twitter… Yeah, I found out that they made that announcement. I didn’t necessarily know that it was going to be our last season next year, I knew something like that was coming up eventually. I mean, we can’t be there forever…I don’t necessarily want to leave so soon, but I mean, it’s fine. It’s what it is. And all things come to an end,”

Cory Monteith (who plays Finn Hudson) reportedly found out about the news from reading The Hollywood Reporter. Some reports indicate Lea Michelle (who portrays Rachel berry) was part of discussions that it could be her senior year, but no word on how she got the news.
