Arnold Schwarzenegger has had a hell of a year. He left office as California Governor and tried to resurrect his acting career, only to be stopped in his tracks with revelations that he fathered a child out of wedlock with his housekeeper. And now, all of that is coming to a bookstore near you!
According to People, Simon & Schuster has confirmed that Schwarzenegger will release a personal memoir in October 2012.
“Total Recall: My Unbelievably True Life Story” (yes that’s the real name) will cover all of the 64-year-old’s life, from an Austria-born bodybuilding champion to action movie star to governor of California. For all of you gossip-lovers, I’m sorry to say that the topic of Maria Shriver and Arnold’s infidelity will only be “touched on”.
Schwarzenegger’s spokesman Adam Mendelsohn told People, “He has been keeping notes and working on the book for over a year…He didn’t want to write his autobiography while he was governor.”
A Simon & Schuster spokesman would not comment on whether the book would go into the scandal and divorce.
