VIDEO: Maksim Chmerkovskiy Blasts Dancing With The Stars Judge Len Goodman On Live TV
A bitter meltdown from DWTS pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy rocked the Ballroom during live television.
None of the judges were that enthusiastic about the dance, but after receiving 20 out of 30 points for his routine with partner Hope Solo, Maksim let loose on veteran judge Len Goodman.
In Goodman’s assessment of Hope Solo’s dance (to Rent’s Seasons Of Love) Goodman remarked: “I always feel like there is so much there, and for some reason it hasn’t come out… This is your worst dance of the season in my opinion.” This was all Chmerkovskiy needed to hear, sparking a live argument.
When Goodman defended his perspective by saying “I’ve been in this business for 50 years,” Chmerkovskiy snarked, “Then maybe it’s time to go!”
Chmerkovskiy, known for confidence that wavers closer to attitude, continued his tyrade with host Brooke Burke Charvet, taking credit for the reality competition’s success. That’s right, the whole show’s success. “With all due respect, this is my show. I help make it what it is.”
Yikes.

It appears that some people react negatively to Max because of his ego. However, let’s face it, he can dance. What some may consider a career ending move contained a good deal of truth. From what I have observed, it would appear that the judges do not evaluate some of the contestants fairly. It should not be a popularity contest . . . it’s a dance contest. Think about past seasons of DWTS. What has happened? Do people actually vote for the best dancer or do they vote for the most likeable personality? Make no mistake about it, the judges do favor certain contestants!
