AMAZING STOP MOTION: A Lonely Desk Toy Uses Google Street View To Travel The Country.
In the short film “Address Is Approximate,” brilliant artist and director Tom Jenkins takes you on an extraordinary journey with the help of stop motion animation and Google Street View. Amazingly, all the screen imagery was animated from google street view – there are no screen replacements.
He sets the story this way: “A lonely desk toy longs for escape from the dark confines of the office, so he takes a cross country road trip to the Pacific Coast in the only way he can – using a toy car and Google Maps Street View.”
