CRANK 3 is Happening
If there’s anything we learned from CRANK and CRANK: HIGH VOLTAGE, there is nothing that can kill Chev Chellios. And now, it seems like we’ll have another crazy chapter to see what else Chev can take.
According to Joblo, while doing press for GHOST RIDER: SPIRIT OF VENGEANCE, director Mark Nevedine answered some questions for Empire about CRANK 3, and made it clear that it’s going to happen:
“By the way, Crank 3 is going to happen, the studios are really excited about it – it’s just all about timing.”
And for anyone who still is wondering about the ending of HIGH VOLTAGE (despite my opening line of this article):
“[Laughs] That alone, we have 20 ways to tackle it. You know, with Crank, basically, you insert another quarter and you play the game again. It’s kind of like what thrills me and Brian, it’s whatever we feel like doing there in the moment, whatever we wanna do, we just do and make it happen. The important thing is what powers Chev. It was adrenaline that kept him alive in the first one, it was electricity in the second one, you know, it’s all about what will keep him alive in the third one. It’s just fun slinging those ideas around.”
 Hmm…electricity and adrenaline…I have no friggen clue what could be next…horse tranquilizers?
